In 2018, I received my PhD in Philosophy from Lund University, where I defended my dissertation on final value under the supervision of Professors Toni Rønnow-Rasmussen and Wlodek Rabinowicz. From 2019 to 2024, I continued my research as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Philosophy, with a project funded by the SRC. As part of this project, I spent four years at Humboldt University in Berlin, working in Professor Thomas Schmidt’s research group in ethics. Until the end of 2027, I will be employed as a postdoctoral researcher at Bielefeld, working with Professor Kiesewetter on his ERC-project on the structure of normativity.
My areas of specialization are value theory, normative ethics, applied ethics, and political philosophy. I also have broad research interests in metaphilosophy (particularly metaontology), the philosophy of language, and the philosophy of mind. I have extensive teaching experience in normative ethics, metaethics, practical ethics, political theory, critical thinking, the philosophy of science, and more. In 2025, I was awarded a generous stipend by the Sten K. Johnson Foundation to develop a philosophy book aimed at a general readership.
